What Does Lower Back Pain Post Intake Of Greasy Food Suggest?

I ate a greasy cheese steak today and about 10 mins later my lower back started to really hurt. I understand with greasy foods tour body must produce more bile to help digest it, an if there a blockage or something else inhibeting the flow of bile you make experience discomfort for a bit. My question is, am i right in my thinking and is there anyway to help clear the way for extra bile if needed if there is a blockage. I rarely eat grease or junk foods but when i do this discomfort is annoying.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If bile is obstructed, you get obstructive jaundice. Your urine will be yellow in colour.
In obstructive jaundice, the pain will be in front of the upper abdomen. Back pain in your case may be due to the musculoskeletal cause. Ultrasound abdomen will clarify further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hari Charan Perigela, General Surgeon
