What Does Low Lying Placenta In An Ultrasound Report Mean?

Hello docter i just want to know i have low lying placenta in last scan 22nd week it was 0.8 cm and im entering 7th month does i will have normal and in mean while i have cough at night will it affect the baby or placenta im scared.i hope u will give me positive reply waiting... Thanks

Hi I think in most of cases, low lying placenta moves to upper segment at 32 weeks. There is a need of bed rest in low lying placenta. If you have any bleeding or spotting, consult your doctor. Having cough at night will not affect your baby. So, don't worry about it. Hope it helps.
