What Does Light Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Misoprostol During Early Pregnancy Indicate?

I am having an early pregnancy of one month..usg shows that there is only a gestational sac of .94cm without any fetal pole..yesterday I hav taken misoprostol orally..after that I had slight bleeding..not heavy..what does it mean? Is this an unsuccessful abortion?

Misoprostrol is the drug you are using to expel the baby that hasn't formed properly in your womb. Every woman's body is different and reacts differently to the drug. We usually expect a heavy bleeding after the first dose of drug along with cramping but its not a universal law. Some women may have light bleeding followed by heavy after taking the other doses of misoprostol withing 24-72 hours. So I would suggest take those pills as prescribed by your doctor and then you will bleed heavily. If still bleeding remains light with no cramping contact your attending doctor immediately.
