What Does Itchy And Inflamed Rash On Breast With Little Red Dots Indicate?

I have a rash on my left breast that is itchy and inflammed with little red dots. I have had this for a couple of weeks. I looked it up on google and heard of the Ibc and it scarred the crap out of me. I went to emerge and he is sending me for a mamogram. I researched this type of cancer and it says mamogram will not detect the ibc. should i demand a biopsy and could this just be eczema?

Hi,

Itchy red rash on breast is more likely to be eczema. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. However, biopsy may be recommended to rule out malignancy. After thorough diagnosis, you may apply mild steroid cream and take antihistaminic and oral steroid in tapering dose. Regular follow up is needed.

Hope this helps.
