what does it mean when you have blood in your urine and your stool at the same time my husband is 57 yrs old. for the past 4 days when he urinates, there is blood in his urine and blood in his stool when he has a bowel movement. what is the cause of this happening all of a sudden with both the urine and the stool? the only medicine he takes is for high blood pressure

It can be due to bleeding disorder or drug induced.Blood in urine known as hematuria & blood in stool known as Malena
