What Does It Mean When The Child Has Fever And Vomits ?
hello doctor , what does it mean when the child has fever and vomits. My child has fever since past 4 days and now is on paracetamol and meftal. Vomits milk and juice. not interested in eating solids. child seems weak and sleepy most of the time. please reply

hi,thanks for query.He seems to have some infection in his stomach or viral infection.4 days is quite a time and you should take him to a doctor for examination and take treatment.Give him more of liquids and light diet,give medicines for vomiting first and then give something to eat.

You are advised to take him to pediatrician as soon as possible as he has fever for last four days and vomiting. He might have viral fever or gastroenteritis.
There is possibility of dehydration.
He require investigations and urgent treatment.
Give plenty of water if he retained.
