when the blood tests under normal circumstance shows abnormal values where it is not clear about whether you are suffering from diabetes or not, then they do more tests to confirm the cause of the abnormal blood values. so you will be put in the category of suspected diabetes and investigated to know whether you are having diabetes or not.

recently informed pre diabetic. don t really understand what that means. Dr says loose weight or become insulin dependent. Am trying to follow what he has told me to eat but my appetite is decreasing daily. Today was my worst day yet. Only able to consume about 350 calories. Blood sugar at 5 before supper was at 7.4, at 7 had jumped to 18.2 ,after drinking water and walking around for an hour it has dropped to 9.3 What can I do to drop sugar levels and when should I consider going to see a dr ?

Hi, I have Addison s disease and type 1 diabetes. I feel like I m getting a UTI. My blood sugar levels keep creeping up (in the 150s or higher, closer to 200, rather than my normal in high 90s or low 100s). Which comes first? The UTI infection, or the blood sugar going up? In other words, does the diabetes cause me to have more infections, or do the infections cause my blood sugar to go up?

We have consulted a doctor and she has prescribed Tab Duphaston (10 mg) twice daily. Could you advise us of its purpose and if it has any side effects in long-term. We would really appreciate your advice on this.
