What Does It Mean To Have Pre-diabetes?

the nurse from the docs offcie called and said i was pre-diabetes what dose that mean? they took a blood test and told me this today and that more test had to be done, i did not think much of it at the time of the call because my kids was acting up but what did they mean by this?

when the blood tests under normal circumstance shows abnormal values where it is not clear about whether you are suffering from diabetes or not, then they do more tests to confirm the cause of the abnormal blood values. so you will be put in the category of suspected diabetes and investigated to know whether you are having diabetes or not.
