Before understanding the term shift to left, you need to understand what neutrophils are.
Neutrophils are type of white blood cells which increase in cases of infection,
Normally only mature forms are seen on peripheral blood smear but in cases of infection, immature neutrophils are also present.
Presence of immature cells on peripheral blood smear is called shift to left.
You have mentioned that there is history of urinary tract infection, so urinary tract infection is the most probable cause of shift to left.
Reactive lymphocytosis is a condition characterized by presence of lymphocytes which reflect features of infection in blood.
