I had received my wife s usg for viability reports and followings points were mentioned. 1.single well defined gestational sac. 2.Fetal pole not visualized. 3.Yolk sac noted. 4.Mean gestational sac-15 mm corresponding to 5.6 weeks. 5.The cervical canal is adequate in length.Internal OS is closed. 6.No evidence of bleed noted. 7.No evidence of any uterine or adnexal mass. 8.No free pelvic fluid. Impression: Early Intrauterine pregnancy of 5.6 weeks gestation. Is everthing fine with baby and mother Or should any thing there to worry about?

Hello sir and welcome.

All seems to be fine from this report. It states that thr sac in which the fetus will be growing has been visualized, although all other points are not yet well visualized as it is too early to see them. A repeat ultrasound will be required to confirm the viability of the pregnancy, but for now there is nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
