Hi there, I ve been getting my period every 2 weeks for the last 6 weeks (just got it again today)... This happened 6 months ago when I was quite stressed, now I m not stressed so I m not sure what s happening? I m not sexually active nor have I ever been, and I m 31 years old.
You need to investigate further with ultrasonography pelvis and pelvic examination for primary work up. After examination if needed curettage of cervical mucosa can be done for further work up. According to cause specific treatment given.
USG will be help in identifying the ovarian cause if present. If no cause identified than serum progesterone estimation, DHEA estimation, FSH and LH estimation like investigation has to be done. Consult nearby gynecologist for examination and discuss your case.
