What Does Indicate A Free Fluid Development In Morrison S Pouch?

Hi, I was diagnosed with TB in Oct 2013, My treatment has been going on since then with 1st line medicines. After looking at my CT scan (which showed almost total resolution of the disease) after 3 months, my doctor suggested me stop Pyzina and continue Rcinex, Combutol and Benadon. Recently I seem to have developed some free fluid in morrison pouch. What does it mean?

Hello!
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
we now a days follow D.O.T.S therapy for TB. please discuss it with your doctor. Please get your liver function tests done. You may have had a blunt trauma to your abdomen. This can cause liver injury or a gallbladder injury, which can cause the free fluid. you have not mentioned about the condition of liver and gallbladder from the ultrasound report which would have been helpful in your query.
I find this answer helpful
