What Does Hypertension & Joint Pain With Hot Flashes Suggest?

Have run a fever of 99.6-100 for over 4 months. Hypertension, fatigue, dry skin, weight gain, sore swollen joints, high sed rate, eye lids swollen in mornings, headaches, abdominal aches. Have history of melanoma, 3 stints in heart. Night sweats, hot flashed...I am always HOT! 50 year old female. Have had this before, 10 years ago, lasted over a year. Had MRI, spinal tap and blood work with no help. Tired of being tired

Hi welcome to HCM,
As per your symptoms,there could be underlying renal disease which is giving rise to periorbital fluid retention,and hypertension.i suggest you get a renal ultrasound and complete urine examination.night sweats and hot flashes are due to estrogen deficiency in the perimenopausal symptoms.associated throxine deficiency can contribute to weight gain and dry skin.review melanoma work up.restrict salt intake, antihypertensives will help.consult a cardiologist for further help.
