What does hydroquinone free nail glue mean? Trying to make fake belly button piercing

What does hydroquinone free mean? Because I m trying to make a fake belly button or tongue piercing & I have to use nail glue . But they told me to use non toxic nail glue . & I was just looking in the back & it didn t say anything about being toxic does that mean I can use it ? But it also said hydroquinone - Free . I was wondering what does hydroquinone mean ?

Hydroquinone is other name for benzene-1,4-diol . It is an aromatic organic compound having the chemical formula C6H4(OH)2. Topically it is used often as skin whitener but is banned in many countries.It is a potential carcinogen and can cause cancer.In lab studies it has been seen to have potential for hepatocellular adenoma,leukemia,thyroid hyperplasia etc.Ochronosis can be caused by hydroquinone.So it is better to use cosmetics which are hydroquinone free.But that does not rule out presence of other toxic chemicals in the product you are using.To comment on the safety of the product you need to list every chemical present in it....
