What Does Higher WBC And RBC Count In Urine Indicate?

wht does it mea if there is a higher wbc, rbc and epithelial cell cunt in urine over week span i late pregnany ie 2wees ago wbc was 25, rbc 6 and epithelial cells 21.
now wbc 135, rbc 182 and epithelial cells 244

protein/creatinine was 9 2 weeks ago now 18

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
Normally,urine doesn't contain RBC.It may be due to UTI.
You need proper clinical examination.UTI is not good for pregnancy and it is increasing in severity.

UTI is indicated by presence of excess pus cells,RBC,epithelial cells in urine.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
