What Does High MCV Level When Suffering From Endometriosis Indicate?

I m a 34yo female who recently had a laparoscopy and endometriosis was found on the back of my uterine wall. The doctor said with my continued pain (symptoms haven t really subsided) I could possibly have adenomyosis. He put me on the Depo shot and I haven t noticed any relief. Do I need to discuss possible hystorectomy with him? Also, my MCV levels were high. Can that be a cause or red flag for what is going on with me?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Adenomyosis and endometriosis are the major cause of pain, and if not relieved by depo shots, then you should be given leuprolide or GnRH injection.
You should discuss the pros and cons of these injections with your doctor.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
