Hello and I hope I can help you today.

The "dryness" you feel in combination with green chunky discharge sounds like you probably have a vaginal yeast (thrush) infection. For treatment, there are antifungal creams or suppositories that you can insert in your vagina. Depending on where you live, you may be able to purchase these products at a pharmacy, or you may need a doctor's prescription.

I want to assure you that vaginal products for yeast are safe in the first trimester. Later in pregnancy a pill treatment may be used as well.

To help prevent yeast infections, try to wear loose breathable cotton underwear and you can consume foods with probiotics like yogurt. But they are common from the hormones of pregnancy and are nothing to worry about.

I hope I was able to answer your question and that my advice was helpful. Best wishes for the rest of the pregnancy, Dr Brown.
