Hello. Thank you for contacting HCM. During the course of monthly female reproductive cycle multiple follicles/cysts develop on both sides of ovary. The most dominant follicle then ruptures with the release of fluid in the pelvis which can be seen on ultrasound. At this point pain may be experienced varying in intensity from person to person. This is normal and no need to worry about it. For the pain you can take tab .Diclofenac potassium three times daily for three days and apply warm compresses to the site of pain.
