What Does Fluid In The Pouch Of Douglas Mean?
Hi my MRI scan showed traces of fluid in the pouch of douglas. I have Crohns disease and a previous scan has shown scarring which suggests polycystic ovaries. I am having a laparoscopy as they also suspect endometriosis but i am wondering what the fluid in the pouch of douglas means? Thanks

This condition of your can be due to mild infection in pelvic area, and mild fluid accumulation in pouch of Douglas can be a normal phenomenon.
