Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia mean a lymphnode has got enlarged and is producing more cells in response to infection from the site near it.
2. It is normal response of lymphnode to infection
3. During FNAC, the superficial squamous cells of skin are also stuck in the needle. These are ocassionally seen.
4. Sore throat might be the cause of enlarged cervical lymphnode region. After treatment of sorethroat, it will reduce within 15 days.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
