What Does Enlarged Heart With Arthritis Suggest?

My mother-in-law is 84 years old. She is a 2x breast cancer survivor. She was old that she has an enlarged heart and arthritis in her legs and not to worry. We are not happy. While we are not physicians, something does not ring entirely true about his comment. Should'nt we get a ECG, echo, something. . .?

Cardiomegaly can be because of many reasons , some types of arthritis also give rise to the same but I think it can be unrelated in your case . Yes an ECG and ECHO should be done to look for ejection fraction.
