What Does Endometrial Plate Displaced But No Gestational Sac Seen Mean?
Hi, please I just had a Transviginal Scan and the result says thus: "The endometrial plate is displaced but there is no gestational sac seen within and around the uterus" pls I need to know the meaning of this statement I just been diagnose of fibrod located sum-serous with measures of 80mm, 52mm and 50mm respectively. Please what is the implication of this in getting pregnant. I have 1 miscarriage.
Your findings suggests no signs of pregnancy at the present stage. This is indicated by non visualization of G-sac. Displaced endometrial plate may be due to fibroiduterus.Findings indicate large fibroid and it might had caused miscarriage. Fibroids are benign tumours and it can be managed by both means conservative or surgical. Treatment depend upon age of the patient, symptoms, family is completed or not etc. Since you have large fibroid, you may need surgical intervention like myomectomy.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Absence of gestational sac suggests absence of viable pregnancy. The gestational sac has not formed and thus the pregnancy is not present and it is best to terminate it. Consult your primary healthcare provider to terminate the pregnancy by best measure.
