What Does Elevated Levels Of Prolactin Along With Anemia Indicate?

Hello there. I'm a 30 year old female who had recently visited my physician. I told them about my fatigue, weight gain, diffuse alopecia, hearing impairment, "chills", and my inability to concentrate. Also I told them about leaving my job as an aerobics instructor due to the severe muscle cramping upon exercise and my shortness of breath. My physician noted a heart rate of 50 beats per minute. After taking some tests they found I had a higher than normal prolactin level of 42.3ng/ml and mean cell hemoglobin concentration was 30.7% lower than the normal average. I was hoping you could explain to me what the elvated levels of prolactin meant along with my anemia. Thank you so very much.

Good day,
Noted your history. Hypothyroidism ( low thyroid hormone levels) can explain most of your symptoms including low heart rate, fatigue, weight gain, alopecia anemia, muscle cramps, exercise intolerence, and elevated prolactin. Please get a TSH and Free T4 done and let me know the reports. You can post a question to me directly with the results
