What Does Elevated Bilirubin Level In Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hello
i have a direct serum bilirubin level of 3.76 & also vitamin d deficiency @ 14. prior to testing been suffering from occaissonal diarrahias & bloating/stomach aches. also have pain in joints & occasioanl sever headaches/ weakness / & skin rash every once in while. not sure what i'm suffering from & after surfing the web today, i strongly feel that i may have problem with gluten & possibly celiac condition ! could the vitamin D / stomach problems & gluten be related & do they have anything to do with high bilirubin level (maybe indication of malnourishment) ??? could you please guide me what to do !
Many thanks for your help in advance!

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your high bilirubin level is not due to malnourishment or vitamin D deficiency.
You may have some liver problem like viral hepatitis or cholycystitis.
You should go for complete liver function test including hepatitis test and ultrasound abdomen. It will give exact cause of your jaundice. then take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
