Good day sir, My name is Reshmi.Presently I m admitted in Sukapuram hospital, Edappal. My son graph report shows an echogenic focus noted in the portion of CBD with posterior acoustic shadowing.Can you please what the report actually meant as I m being referred to Mother hospital. Thanks.

Hello.

This is likely a gallstone which is lodged in your common bile duct (tube that drains bile from you liver to your intestines).

If it is causing pain, it may need to be removed by surgery or stenting.
