Hello,

He may be developed diverticulitis in which part of bowel walk outpouching produce infection there. This infection may spread to adjoining structure lead to abscess formation or sinus formation etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet pantoprazole.

Continue antibiotics as doctor priscribing.

If symptoms not improved then get it done repeated ultrasound and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
