What Does Difficulty Swallowing After Hernia Surgery Suggest?
I had a sliding hiatal hernia fixed with surgery 5 1/2 years ago and a few months ago started having very painful and long lasting bloating, I also had a recent CT scan and they noted my sliding hiatal hernia was back, the pain is awful when the bloating occurs and medicine for bloating is not helping, what are my options and reasonable expectations due to this ? I am not having any Gerd, but do have some difficulty swallowing at times.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to hyperacidity but underlying cause of hiatus hernia need to be repaired first till then you can try "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30" once in day at evening time, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
