What Does Diarrhea, Nausea, Stomach Cramps And Headache Imply?

Hi, I ve had severe, diarrhea, nausia, stomach cramps and a headache over the last few days. The other symptoms seem to gradually getting better but the headaches are now far worse. I ve tried drinking plenty of fluids, and restricted my eating to small bits of easy to digest food (such as apples and toast) after not eating for a day or so. Any advice? Any idea what it could be, and at this stage would you recommend going to see a doctor? Many Thanks, Brian

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the headache and supportive features narrated here suggest intestine infection through some sort of bacterial or viral infection of the intestine.

Though general measures are under practice very well here, I would suggest
- consult your doc for a prescription of GI specific antibiotic, antipyretic with PPI and probiotics for best results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
