What Does Cyst In Ovary And Cramps During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi, i am 11 weeks pregnant and i know i have got a cyst on my right ovary! when i got up in the night last night i could feel a lump on my right side, could this be the cyst? after reading things on the net i am worried it may be ectopic? i havent had any bleeding or abdominal pain since my pregnancy apart from a few cramps?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
You are 11 weeks pregnant without having pain or bleeding all these days.It seems to be a normal pregnancy, where such mild cramps can occur simply due to constipation/gases/ stretching of uterine walls due to growing fetus.
- I don't think you have ectopic pregnancy, for ectopic pregnancy produces continuous dull pain with bleeding . You don't seem to have any ( that too at 11weeks ).
* Still considering your ovarian cyst it's better to consult your doctor & get USG abdomen done.this will exclude any problem with the cyst/ clear doubt of ectopic.
Thanks.
