What Does Coughing Up Bubbly Foam And Food Bits With Painful Feeling Of Something Stuck In Chest Indicate?
I just choked on/spit up my Thanksgiving turkey. I thought I had choked on it or gotten it lodged in my wind pipe but it s almost 30 minutes and I m still cough up some kind of foam. It s coming out as bubbles and food bits. My chest/throat quite a bit like something s still stuck in their and I keep having weird convulsions that results in more foam spit up. What the hell is this and why does it hurt so bad?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. May be due to . 1 Esophagitis or acute gastritis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by an esophagoscope. 2 Inhalation of some foreign particle in trachea may cause this type of problem.Diagnosis can be confirmed by examination by a laryngoscope. As sometimes a small particle inhaled in windpipe and develops such type of feeling that something stuck in throat. 3 Throat infection develops such type of feelings . In my opinion consult an E N T expert and get his consultation as physical examination is very important. Good luck. Dr. HET
