What does constant repetitive motion in a 9-year-old, such as shaking of head and wrinkling of nose, indicate?

HI I have a 9 year old boy who is making what seems to be repetitive motion like shaking his head or wrinkling his nose compulsively to the point the teacher noticed wondering if he has problems. Other than that he is healthy he does this throughout the day

By what you say I feel that the possibilities are -

1. motor tics
2. habit disorder
3. unintentional repetitive behavior
