What Does Constant Left-sided Pain In The Lower Abdomen Indicate?

I have a pain on my lower left side where I imagine my ovaries are...about 2 fingers up from my leg. I have had the pain for a month, starting first as an ache or two but now the pain is constant but more annoying than anything else. What do you think? Thanks!

In such a case it is important to go in for an abdomino pelvic ultrasound. There are many important structures in the pelvis and it could be anything ranging from an ovarian cyst, a renal Stone or simply a pulled muscle. But if the pain really bothers you it's better to rule out any ominous Pathology by doing an ultrasound
