What Does Clinical Correlation Is Recommended In X-ray Report Mean?
Hi i received a xray report saying the followings: - heart is not enlarged - fibronodular changes are seen in the left lung zone -this could be due to granulomatous infection - clinical correlation is recommended - there is no pleural effusion Please advise what is the actual scenario. Thanks.

The chest X ray shows some small spots indicative on an old healed TB infection of lungs ar any similar condition. The cardiac size and appearance is normal. There is no other abnormality in the X ray. In this situation you must discuss the findings of chest X ray with your doctor and inform them of any pulmonary TB if you have had in the past.
