General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Given drugs will give you relief regarding pain and irregular periods.
These cysts enlarge and produce Endometriosis of the ovary. They respond to hormone stimulation during the menstrual cycle and produce many small cysts, which may then occupy and even replace the normal ovarian tissue.
When this type of ovarian cyst ruptures, the material spills over into the pelvis and onto the surface of the uterus, bladder and bowel and the corresponding spaces between. Adhesion can develop because of this rupture and may lead to pelvic pain.
Ovarian cyst will need monitoring for other changes like potential for cancer, rupture.
USG needs to be done for its rupture and imminent rupture. And if required, your physician will take decision for its removal.
Take care.

Best regards,
Dr. Neelam.

Hello
Welcome to healthcaremagic
The scan reports suggest - ? chocolate cyst
I understand that the report can be disturbing - but you can try the medications suggested by your doctor and rescan to see of the cyst is still seen or has it reduced in size
If the cyst is persistent then you might require further investigations and treatment
Your consultant will be able to help you with the same

hope to have answered your query
