What Does Chest Pain On The Left Side Indicate?

I am a 33-year-old female who s been having waxing and waning pains in the left side of the chest. EKG, mammogram and blood tests are relatively normal (low hemoglobin), so naturally my doctor gave up on me. Often the pain is quite intense and change of position does not help. No swelling, discoloration or warmness to touch. No cough, bp and hr are normal. No big stress. Is there anything else you suggest I check??

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Sometimes ecg can be a normal despite offering having heart diseases.
So to rule out cardiac cause for your chest pain, we should should definitely get done 2d echo and stress test (trade mill test).
If these symptoms tests are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Anaemia can itself cause chest pain. So correction if anaemia is needed.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
