What does body ache after recovering from bronchitis indicate?

I had GI and respiratory problems around Thanksgiving. Was given antibiotics for bronchitis. Recovered from that, but have full body aches, muscle, and joint. Had numerous blood labs drawn on Friday. Most abnormal results so far Bun elevated 23, Sed Rate elevated at 68 and Uric Acid elevated at 6.8. I will not hear from my pcp until, until Tuesday, at the soonest. Any insight?

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -:

1)Do a physical examination by your Doctor [rheumatologist]and do Dual energy CT scan to confirm as your uric acid level is little high.

2)If confirmed then discuss with your Doctor about following prescription medications like this [Colchicine, Corticosteroids]for joint and muscle pain and for preventive medications like [allopurinol].

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to keep your fluid intake high.

2)Try to limit or avoid alcohol. Talk with your doctor about whether any amount or type of alcohol is safe for you but try to avoid [BEER].

3)Get your protein from low-fat dairy products.

4)Limit your intake of meat, fish and poultry. A small amount may be tolerable, but pay close attention to what types and how much seem to cause problems for you.

5)Try to maintain a desirable body weight. Choose portions that allow you to maintain a healthy weight. Losing weight may decrease uric acid levels in your body.

Hope that helps
