What Does Birth Defect Post Femoral Focal Deficiency Mean?

I would like to find extensive information on: 1. the birth defect Post Femoral Focal Deficiency--other things I may need to worry about associated with this condition. I am now 62. 2. I d also like to find the university research centers, as well as independent prosthetists, who have the most experience in creating suction sockets (a difficult fit due to stump irregularities) AND electronic knee and foot (most likely C-Leg). EDIT--I did not realize this was a pay service. I am looking for hard core medical information not wwikipedia-grade nonsense and links. It should have been clear from the beginning that this was a pay service. In view of that ommission, I must withdraw my question.

I guess, you have already been knowing much about PFFD (Post Femoral Focal Deficiency)
The management of proximal femoral focal deficiency requires a multidisciplinary team, which includes the pediatric orthopedic surgeon, prosthetists, and physical therapists. The goals of treatment of PFFD are to compensate for the functional deficits. No single treatment approach applies to all cases. Each person with PFFD must be assessed individually, So what I suggest you to consult higher centres like CMC Vellore , where you can find 'paediatric orthopaedic surgeon along with the team. I an understand your problem , but these kind of diseases can only be managed by tertiary care centres who have facilities and team for procedures like knee arthrodesis, Foot amputation and Van Nes rotationplasty , which will be required in this case.
