What Does An Itchy Red Rash On The Right Calf Indicate?

Hi! Thank you for being available. I have a red circle, bullseye pattern, on my right calf. Itchy. Been treating with hydrocortisone 10. Only noticed today (just now) that it has a bullseye pattern. First noticed it 4-5 days ago. Also: for the last 4-5 days I ve had massive low-belly bloating and pain, a slight metallic taste in my mouth, and intense belching.

Hello,
Bulls eye rashes can be caused by many things. The most concerning would be Lyme disease. If you live in an area where there are ticks that spread lyme disease then you should see your doctor. Those rashes are usually not very itchy though. It is more likely a yeast type infection. I suggest that you stop the steroid cream and start an antifungal cream like Lamisil.
Regards
