What Does Alkaline Reflux Mean?

My daughter was diagnosed with reflux after having a 24 hr pH probe and bronchoscopy and laryngospy performed last month. Today I found out the results of the pH probe were that she not only had acid reflux but Alkaline Reflux. What is Alkaline Reflux???

Hello,

Bile reflux may lead to alkaline reflux seen in peptic ulcer disease or gallbladder or liver problems etc.

Bile reflux may lead to esophagitis, GERD, esophageal cancer. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. So please consult your gastroentrologist get it done Upper GI endoscopy and get treated accordingly.
