Years ago( almost 25 years ago) I was trying to get pregnant and I was having a hard time so I went to my Gynacologist and she did an ultrasound to see if there was any problems with me. I remember she saying that she saw an invital tissue in my utrerus . I was scared to ask what that ment. Could it have been that I at some time had become pregnant and that the tissue that the Dr talked was the baby that had died? I have been asking this question to myself for all these years. fetal pole may be seen at 6 weeks. But if amniotic sac fetal pole present means it is a baby. Without fetal pole or aminiotic sac or cardiac activity maens it is not a missed abortion.
