Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of a bacterial throat infection. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and a throat bacterial culture. Antibiotics may be needed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
