What Does A Rough Patch Of Skin On The Ankle Indicate?
There is a dry, rough, patch of skin on my 11 year old daughter s outer ankle. She told me it is numb. It is about the size of a quarter and has been there for about two years but she told me she thinks it is getting bigger. Any idea what it is and how it can be treated?

Outer side of ankle is pressure bearing area while sitting.
So possibility of pressure changes of skin of that area is more likely.
Usually, no treatment is required except moisturizer cream.
But if it is cosmetically ugly and increasing in size then surgical removal of that skin is needed.
