What Does A Red Spot On The Eyeball Indicate?

Hi I have a red sort of bruise on the outer corner of my eyeball. I also has what I think is a chalazion but I m not sure it is quite painful though if I d touch it or lightly touch my eyelash it would hurt but it it getting better and small with warm compresses+warm water and epsom salt. That never burns they feel amazing and it brings the swelling down. My ey burns in that corner. I assumed it was the lid like my skin because of the swelling that was originated in that upper outer lid. I will accept any information you can give me. Do you think that I should go to the hospital or the optometrist? Thank you

Hello,

You are most probably suffering from stye external hordeolum for that you need to take pain killers, antibiotics, and cold compression. If still doesn’t resolve in 5 days visit hospital. Do not visit optometrist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
