What Does A Red Rash On The Neck Indicate?

I have had a dark red bloch surfaced on my neck. Recently pimple like formations have formed on this. I have used topical antibotics wiith no healing. I also have a scab on my scalp which has not gone away, also used topical antibiotic applied with no healinhg. It s getting more crustier. What is this?

1. Do a full blood count with differential
2. Take a full course of antiviral with steroid for Herpes Zoster
