What Does A Raised Mole Between Breast Indicate?

i have a round raised mole between my breast. I noticed when in a hot shower there were a few very tiny white spots in it. Appeared more like a tiny white head. There has been no other changes to this mole and has been there for years. When i noticed i applied slight pressure and a little pus came out. it was firm in texture but not hard. Should i be concerned?

Hi,

You may be having compound nevus. It may be melanocytic nevus. According to history, it seems that the mole is benign. So, do not worry. At present ,there is no changes suggestive of malignancy. There may be secondary bacterial infection. You may consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. I would like to recommend following suggestions..

- to clear secondary bacteria infection, take a short course of antibiotics
- after clearance of infection, you consult dermatologist or surgeon
- the mole may be kept untreated
- if you feel embarassing, you may go for removal of the mole by excision or electrocautery

I hope above suggestions might be helpful to you.

Thanks.
