What Does A Painful Lump On The Buttocks Indicate?
I have a mass, frimness in my left buttock, it feels like a bruise but pain increase the longer I sit or sleep on it. A sonogram showed a black area within the muscle. A Ct with high resolution is scheduled. Naproxen (500mg 2x daily and Cyclobenzaprine, 10mg up to 3x daily provide some relief. what might this be?

It might be a benign swelling like dermoid or lipoma. You go for an FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) to make a diagnosis. It is superior to CT for deriving a diagnosis.
