What Does A Painful Lump On Neck Indicate?

i have a hard pea sized lump on the left side of my neck it can hurt when touched or stretching ive also been getting headaches that feel like someone is squeezing my head and at times i get these sharp pains in my head that only last for a couple seconds any ideas what this could be
