What Does A Mass On The Lung In A Chest X-ray Report Suggest?
Hello, my Mom recently had a chest x-ray and was told that she had a mass on her left lung. She is elderly and has a history of 40 + years of smoking (stopped 2 years ago). She has been coughing and has had to have several blood transfusions over the last 5 months for hemoglobin as low as 61. There is no known cause of the decreased hemoglobin as of yet. She has had several chest x-rays within the last 3 months with 1-normal 2-possible COPD 3-lung mass. Question: Can lung cancer present on chest x-ray that quickly over 3 months?
