smaller second looking tongue with tougher white edges at the bottom of the the root of my tongue. the edges come to and sharp crease and act more like flaps or wings. the lump appeared and grew within a few hours but the white part developed a day or so later. its been present for three. theres no pain really in the lump just kinda feels like a tin tongue but a little further back above my adams apple and on the inside of the back left side of my jaw, but not on or in my actual jaw, has felt like i got very precisely upper cut for about a week.
Any type of lumps need to be physically examined. It can be a sublingual or submandibular growth that can be benign or malignant. White patches developing are not always cancerous but indicative of being precancerous. They need to be evaluated & treated at the earliest. Visit an ENT specialist & get Biopsy, Fine needle aspiration cytology along with other imaging tests like X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, PET Scan be done. In the meantime, avoid addictions if any & take care of your oral hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
