What Does A Lump On The Toe Indicate?

I have a small bump on my toe that had two little black dots under the skin - kept growing bigger... tried compound W for two weeks, but just peeled the skin off. Took a needle and tried to get the two dots out.. closed up but had a small scan... now has thick sticky clear fluid when I opened it. Any idea what this is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

A photograph of the bump on your toe would help in providing more details.

For the moment I can only suggest to:
- Bath your feet with warm water mixed with vinegar and baking soda.
- Dry well.
- Apply Zinc Oxide ointment only, avoid using Compound W.

If still no improvement, should consult with a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
