What Does A Lump On The Neck Indicate?

I found a lump on My five year old daughters neck tonight while brushing her hair. It s not discoloured or red, and it hurts her to touch it. It doesn t hurt her to turn her head or look up or down. She can eat and swallow fine. She did fall on the trampoline a couple days ago, could it be something with that maybe? Or not?

hello, a lump in a neck has a wide range of causes but most commonly it can be due to infection of a lymph node.you can consult your near hospital to run some base line investigation starting from blood complete picture.If its a simple lymph nodal infection this report will show you the results but if its not that other tests to rule out other diseases must be taken down.the causes of lump in a neck includes mainly infection , tuberculosis, lymphoma, or other blood cancer.
